Mid-century Modern in Bonita
This 1960s ranch home was pretty nondescript and typical of its era. What it had going for it was a wonderful pie shaped lot at the end of a cul-de-sac. The private, terraced yard looks over a large park and hills in the distance. The living and dining room had huge picture windows and a low pitched ceiling which became the inspiration for the mid-century modern renovation.
The whole house was remodeled: some of the rooms were reconfigured to maximize flow and function.
The homeowners totally embraced the vibe of the mid-century era, keeping it fresh and vibrant: mixing colors, shapes and patterns. The finishes are streamlined and easy to care for.
The result is a home that is full of personality and fun, which is perfect for this busy young family.
